June Chapter Meeting at Riverwoods, Exeter

AIA New Hampshire will hold its June Chapter Meeting at Riverwoods, a continuing care retirement community (CCRC) in Exeter, NH.  Riverwoods, a non-profit charitable organization, was founded in 1994 by a grassroots group of seacoast residents. It has been the recipient of many awards for business and health innovation.  It is also a project for which JSA Architects was given an AIANH Design Award in 2009. JSA Architects will present a case study of the Ridge and Boulders communities, describing the architectural design process specific to this building and community type.  Tours will be given of the Ridge and Boulders by Riverwoods representatives.  Additionally, Matt Haywood, CEO of Tazergy (Low Voltage & IT Technology Solutions for Senior Living,  www.tazergy.com), will give a keynote presentation, "Effects of new technologies on evolving design strategies for senior living."

We will have a dinner buffet and enjoy a New Hampshire summer's evening together.  This is will be our last chapter meeting before we meet again in the fall for a full schedule of programs.

Please join us at Riverwoods to learn about this interesting project and to catch up with colleagues and friends.
