Our growing firm is adding a Senior Studio Designer/Architect to our team. MT Architects is a tightknit and collaborative firm working on a wide range of design projects across New Hampshire. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s accredited professional degree in architecture or related design field

  • 6+ years of experience in architectural design

  • Hand-sketching and design skills

  • Technical skills in AutoCAD

  • Proficiency with SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Suite

  • Experience and interest in traditional and modern detailing and design

  • Experience in the development of design and construction documentation

  • Critical listening, observing, and thinking skills

  • Excellent problem-solving and teamwork skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the team to develop design solutions for various types of projects

  • Establish concepts, space planning, and programming based on clients’ functional and spatial requirements and design aesthetics

  • Resolve complex design issues with innovative and practical solutions for both residential and non-residential clients

  • Produce computer-generated architectural drawings

  • Direct client interaction to support and enhance the project

  • Participate in occasional site visits and documentation of existing structures to produce existing-condition base drawings

  • Participate in construction administration of projects as required

  • Collaborate with design team, consultants, and contractors regularly and positively engage the client in the design process

  • Develop and maintain knowledge of applicable codes and construction standards
